“A Peacemax Tree” is an interactive tree made of motors and laser-equipped toy guns. When nobody is around, this violent tree lets its guard down and dances to “White Christmas”. But, when you enter its territory, the tree becomes nervous, and all guns point at you!

João Vasco Paiva is a portuguese artist currently living in Hong Kong.His work is based on the exploration of sound and visuals produced through the isolation of physical patterns.He uses digital and analog systems to depict scores in everyday life situations and re arranges them as sound and visual compositions.He presents his work as live performances, single channel videos and audio visual installations.
Joao graduated from a Fine Arts Degree in Porto Art School with a special focus in painting. In 2006 he was awarded with a 2 years scholarship from Fundaçao Oriente a Portuguese Foundation that supports young artists in Asia, He obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Media in the School of Creative Media City University of Hong Kong.
Choi Sai Ho is an electronic musician and audio-visual artist. S.T. is his solo project. Sai Ho received classical music training since childhood. His works cover different types of music genres including electronica, downtempo, IDM, avant-garde, experimental, etc. He was selected as the first Hong Kong Chinese musician to join the Red Bull Music Academy 2006 in Melbourne, Australia. In 2008, Sai Ho was selected as the number 8 of the Hong Kongs Top 20 Musicians by Hong Kong Time-Out Magazine. He collaborates with different kinds of artists, musicians and directors, and keeps working actively on audio-visual performances, live gigs, remixes, experimental short films, music score for films, etc. Looking for possibility, variety, diversity.
Bash is an Interaction Designer in Brisbane who specialises in Tangible Media Art – the augmentation of technology over everyday objects to increase their meaning.

The battleships-like game exposes the hidden realms of a military tactician by utilising a plotting table to visualise a naval battle. “Tacticians” can command a battalion to advance or retreat in order to gain a competitive edge and defeat their opponent.
